Bakú (jun. 16/21). On June 16, 2021, Ambassador Luis Antonio Dimaté Cárdenas held a meeting with Mr. Anar Guliyev, Head of the State Committee for Urbanism and Architecture of Azerbaijan in order to deepen the bilateral relations between Colombia and Azerbaijan.

At the very cordial meeting, the parties discussed promising areas for bilateral cooperation. Mr. Guliyev reported on the work being done to restore the territories of Azerbaijan, and also the activities of the state committee and urban development reforms.

For his part, Ambassador Antonio Dimaté praised the high level of mutual relations between the two countries and expressed his full satisfaction for the good state of bilateral relations, cultivated over 25 years, and highlighted Colombia's interest in particularly boost tourism, trade and investment between the two countries.

The parties exchanged views on cooperation in urban planning, design, use of modern information technologies in construction and discussed possible joint projects.
